so..lets start@the beginning alan:-)
Born into the "watson" clan[a twin] yes,i have a twin sister whom beat me into this crazy world by minutes,the year 1962[august],two older sisters,and older brother,then along popped another boy[3 brothers for 3 sisters].
i suppose being the 2nd youngest had its advantages[i got away with chit].
my parents were just the normal hard working family,dad was an Alcoholic[but kept a job] and mum kept 2 jobs on to make ends meet,working in law hospital as a nurse and part time in a garage,so what can i remember back in the 60s??....being taken in my pram to the local co-op and bumped into the backroom staff to look after me as i was a tearaway,anything i got hold of?ended up on the deck,i suppose being one of the youngest i was bullied around a little,it was to be expected,ive had a few slapped arses in my time:-))
none worse than the time myself and twin sister had identical pyjamas[the tweenies"],yes i still remember the blue colours,she was a constant bed wetter and got out of bed through the night toddling of to the toilet letting her wet pyjama bottoms fall to the floor,only for alan to go in with his dry ones and aileen to return to collect them,[i got the hiding of my life everytime]this went on for weeks till mum caught her in the act swopping my dry bottoms for her piss soaked ones...wow did she get a slapped arse!!!...funny as fuk....
